Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Alfred Usie, 83, who died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Usie served in the United States Air Force. ?He was a past member of the Breaux Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, Thelma G. Usie of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Dennis Usie and his wife, Roseanna, Keith Usie and his wife, Charlene, and Kenneth Usie; one daughter, Jennie Usie, all of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Joseph M. Usie of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Hazel Serrette of Henderson; three grandchildren, Jamie Usie, Daniel Usie and Lacie Usie, all of Breaux Bridge; and two great grandchildren, Monique A. Usie and Maison Usie. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and S?lonie Usie. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
