Amelie LegrandBreaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 24, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Amelie Legrand, 86, who passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Rev. Donald Pousson, will conduct the services. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Miss Legrand was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was a devout catholic. Survivors include her brother, Andrew Legrand and his wife, Helen of Henderson and her sister, Helen L. Burleigh and her husband, Audrey of Port Arthur, TX. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Andrea Eddy Legrand; sister, Mary L. Latiolais, brothers, Allen, Paul, and Basile Legrand; nieces, Judy and Peggy Ann Guidry; nephews, Carroll and Russell Legrand. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Trent, Dale, Donald and Chase Legrand, Chuck Ray and Lonnie Latiolais. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
