BreauxBridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Annette Aubrey Alexander, 90. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the Pellerin Funeral Home, 211 Berard St., from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but the who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 Annette Alexander departed this world on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Annette was a native of Parks, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late Jules Aubrey and the late Naomie Thomas Aubrey. Rev. Joseph Campion, SSJ will officiate at the funeral Mass. Readers will be Lisa Alexander and Tanya St. Julien. Gift bearers will be Denise Potier and Isabella Simpson. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Annette called 'Tee' by many enjoyed gardening, baking pies, cooking, recitation of the rosary and taking care of family. She was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She leaves to mourn her passing her three children, Edward Alexander of Parks, Antoinette Alexander Celestine of Parks, and Clemente Alexander Simon of Lafayette, 13 grandchildren, Jules Alexander, Kevin St. Julien, Cornell St. Julien, Lisa Alexander, Denise (Alfred) Potier, Janice Alexander, Isabella (Shannon) Simpson, Danielle Alexander, Angella Celestine, Dana St. Julien, Michelle (Preston) Celestine, Pamela (George) Lee, Tanya St. Julien; 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and one sister in law, Rose Alexander Lewis; along with other relatives and friends. Annette will be sadly missed by everyone. Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar J. Alexander, Sr., her son Edgar J. Alexander, Jr.; her parents Jules Aubrey and Naomie Thomas Aubrey, brothers in law, Clarence Sr., Dennis, Lennis, Clerify, John and Adam Alexander, sisters in law, Felicia Alexander Thibodeaux, Ann Alexander Chatman, Mary Alexander Delahoussaye and JoAnn Francis Alexander. Pallbearers will be Jules Alexander, Kevin St. Julien, Cornell St. Julien, Eric Ledet Jr., Terry Delahoussaye and Chris Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Alexander, Shannon Simpson, George Lee, Alfred Potier Jr., Blake Alexander, Bryan Celestine, CJ Thomas and Roland (T-Row) Thomas. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel. We are overwhelmed by the love and generosity you have shown in our time of need. Thank you for the kind deeds, prayers and many kind words of sympathy.
