Bernice Arnaud

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Bernice Guidry Arnaud, 83, who died Friday, May 4, 2007 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia. Bernice loved cleaning her home, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her three loving daughters, Lee Anna Berard and her husband, Al of Breaux Bridge, Bessie Jane Lanclos and her husband, Kenneth of Cecilia and Debbie A. Carroll and her husband George of Lafayette; her brothers, Alton, Allen, Harris, Leland, Nolan and Newton Guidry all of Arnaudville; her sisters, Paola Huval of Arnaudville, Ivy Carriere of Opelousas and Dorita Chambliss of Florida; her grandchildren, Jamie Lanclos, Kenneth Lanclos Jr., Emily Lanclos, Sara Romero, Jason Berard, Maggie Berard and Zachary Carroll; her great grandchildren, Damon Lanclos, Daniel Lanclos and Layton Berard. ? She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Arnaud, Sr. her parents, Ophey and Bertha Duplechin Guidry; and her son, Edward Arnaud, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:30 pm until 10:00 pm, Monday, May 7, 2007 and continue at 8:00 am, Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Monday, May 7, 2007. Pallbearers will be Jason Berard, Allen, Harris, Leland, Nolan and Newton Guidry . Honorary pallbearers will be Damon Lanclos, Zachary Carroll, Daniel Lanclos and Layton Berard. Special thanks to the J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home, doctors, nurses and CNA staff for the wonderful care that was given to our mother. ?We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ivy Carriere, her sister for her loving care. ?
