Breaux Bridge Memorial services will be held at a later date for Betty Quackenbush, 86, who passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Mrs. Betty enjoyed decorating cakes, doing word search books, watching game shows on TV, and loved Country music. She cherished moments spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Donald ) Schmigel of Pembrooke, NY, Cheryl (Eric ) Hayes of Breaux Bridge, and Kathleen (Bruce ) Quackenbush of Cheektowaga, NY; her sons, Harry Thomas Whitting of New Orleans, Henry "Hank" (Debbie ) Cramer of Saratoga, CA, and James Laverne (Joy ) Howard of Basom, NY; her grandchildren, Betty Cornwall of Carriere, MS, Clayton Frasier of PA, Karrie Schmigel of Pembrooke, NY, Donny Schmigel of Pembrooke, NY, Kathleen Quackenbush of Batavia, NY, Bruce Quackenbush of Batavia, NY, Scott Quackenbush of Batavia, NY, Marc (Isabel) Cramer of San Jose, CA, Rachel Cramer of Saratoga, CA, and Ginger Frafier; numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Quackenbush; her parents, Arthur and Theresa Timmins Kreib; and several brothers. I just want to say I love you. I know we weren't as close once you moved away but I remember staying at your and grandpa Dave's place all the time. Going to antique places and looking at glass. And the time spent in the thousand islands...I could go on. Rest in peace grandma. Till we meet again. I love u and miss u

Mom, I am so glad I got to talk to you last week it was great. Now i want to tell you again I LOVE YOU. I know you are in no pain and now watching over us down here,Fly like an angel. I now have 2 angels to look over me.

Hi grandma. I know I really never got the chance to meet you but I'm sure you were an amazing women and that's where grandma kathy gets it from=). It breaks my heart to know that your gone, but you are now a beautiful angel watching over your family. R.I.P great grandma. U will always be lived and missed

MOM,I LOVE YOU. One of my best childhood memory is that when I would be sick, you would make your homemade eggnog. Till this day I get that warm fuzzy feeling of your motherly love, and I wish that was a child and sick just so I could have you take of me like you did then.
