Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia for Betty A. Robin , 74, who passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 10:45 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm by Deacon Ken Soignier followed by Pastor Michael Stewart will speak at 7:00 pm on Monday.
Rev. Randy Courville will officiate at the Funeral Service.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Betty Albert Robin, born October 29, 1945 to Clytus Joseph Albert and Anna Lou Huval Albert. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty enjoyed playing certain types of card games with her daughter and friends, playing Yahtzee, doing word search puzzles and watching television. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Brent John Robin; daughter, Marilyn R. Choplin; grandsons, Joey Choplin and Dylan Choplin; great-grandchild, Ethan Choplin; brother, Clytus Albert, Jr.; sisters, Leona A. Robin (Dalton), Sheena A. Lavergne and Ursel A. Courville; brother-in-law, Homer Robin (Irma); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Clarence Robin; parents Clytus Albert, Sr., and Anna Lou Huval Albert; sister, Florine A. Castille; maternal grandparents, Aurlien and Helen Huval; and paternal grandparents, St. Maurice and Emma Albert.
Pallbearers will be Richard Robin, Clytus Albert Jr., Dalton Robin, Barbara "Bobbie" Robin, Clark Robin, Russell Huval and Mitchell "T-Mike" Robin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brent John Robin, Joey Choplin, Dylan Choplin and Sammy Champagne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to defer funeral cost.
