David Sylvester

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 25, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for David Sylvester, 38, who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. David enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Pearly Mae L. Sylvester; his daughter, Cassandra Demouchette; his brother, Robert Sylvester, Jr., all of Breaux Bridge; his maternal grandfather, Ernest Lewis, of Beaumont, TX; his paternal grandmother, Lovina Sylvester, of Breaux Bridge; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sylvester, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Ella Mae Jones; his paternal grandfather, Paul Sylvester; and his aunt, Eunice Davis. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. on Friday and continue until 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Ernest Sylvester, Leboy Sylvester, Joshua Jackson, Ernest Jones, Clarence Thibodeaux, and Shelton Jones. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
