Elizabeth Greta Green

Breaux Bridge - Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Elizabeth Greta Green, 86, who passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at her residence. Greta was the president of Spanish Lake Commission. She was always willing to help others in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed watercolor painting. Greta will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving spouse of 66 years, Carroll Green; sons, Kort Green and Morgan Green and wife Patty; daughter, Valerie LePretre and husband, James; brothers, Frankie Castille and wife Marlene, and Leonard Castille and wife Patricia; sisters, Jean Angelle, Ginny LeBlanc and husband, Gerald, Cheryl Turner, Deborah Shelton and husband, Bo, and Deidre Reichel and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Stephanie Green, Kortni Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson; and a great grandchild, Leila Laneaux. She was preceded in death by her father, Royal Castille; mother, Lyda Castille; brothers, Gordon Castille and R.P. Castille; and sister, Cleo Bernard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Acadiana. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
