Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, November 16, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Ernest Bernard Francis, 78, who passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Francis of Breaux Bridge, Ernest Francis, Jr., and Michael Francis, both of New Orleans; four daughters, Shirley Francis Joseph, of Baton Rouge, Wanda Sue Francis, Patricia Francis, and Lisa Francis, all of New Orleans; and a host of grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice Sylvester Francis; and his sister, Bertha Francis Batiste. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
