VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE New Iberia -Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 25, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Fritz Dietlein, 73, who passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Rev. Charles Langlois will officiate. Born on December 2, 1936 in New Iberia, Mr. Dietlein retired from Wildlife and Fisheries with 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, gardening, and photography. Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Jeanette McDowell Dietlein of New Iberia; sons, Frederick C. Dietlein and wife Ronnette of Lafayette, Michael C. Dietlein and fiance, Lisa Daigle of New Iberia; grandchildren, Emma Louise Dietlein, Alexander Fritz Dietlein, Carter Shane Dietlein, Brock Anthony Dietlein, and Brody Michael Dietlein. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence F. Dietlein, Sr. and Jeanne Boudreaux Dietlein; brother, Dr. Lawrence F. Dietlein, Jr.; sister, Marie Adeline Toot Dietlein.
