Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Harriet Palombo, 56, who passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Friday.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Harriet was employed with HCA-Parallon for 20 years as a Regional Patient Access Director. She was a member of the Medical Group Management Association, Hospital Financial Management Group, and Beta Sigma Phi. Harriet enjoyed shopping, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Tucker, and her husband, Michael, of 35 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Palombo of Baton Rouge; son, Brock Palombo of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Brittany Beeson and husband Adam of Denham Springs; grandchild, Tucker Beeson; brothers, Lee Hollier and companion, Evelyn, of Lafayette, and Ralph Hollier and wife Verna of Burbank, CA; sisters, Kathleen Patin of Lafayette, and Ann Muller and husband Rick of Everett, WA; special friends, Don and Bev Varnado of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marie Amanda Hollier; and her brother-in-law, P.J. Patin.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Beeson, Lee Varnado, Mark Oakley, Pat Caballero, Ryan Patin, and Matt Palombo.
