Henry Huval

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am , on Monday, July 16, 2012 , at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge , for Henry Huval, 97, who passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 , at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday and continue at 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kayla Gary and Shawne Taylor. Gift Bearers will be his great grandchildren. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . As a young man he was in the C.C.C. Camp. He was an Honorary Sheriffs Deputy for St. Martin Parish and a crawfisherman most of his life. He was a farmer who enjoyed his barnyard work and gardening. He cooked for C. F. Bean, Inc. Henry loved hunting and dancing especially Cajun dancing and family gatherings especially at Christmas time. He is survived by his sons, Russell "Shorty" Huval and his wife, Teresa of Breaux Bridge, Norris Huval and his wife, Linda of Breaux Bridge, Gerald Huval and his wife, Gail of Cecilia; his daughters, Bonnie Boudreaux and her husband, Cornell of Breaux Bridge, and Louella Angelle of Cecilia; his sister, Mae LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; his fifteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Evelyn LeBlanc Huval; his parents, Robert and Elvire Guidry Huval; his son-in-law, Jessie Angelle; and his seven brothers. Pallbearers will be Norris Huval, Russell "Shorty" Huval, Cornel Boudreaux, Miles Boudreaux, Neil Huval, and Kurry Huval.
