Homer Broussard

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Homer Broussard, 90, who passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence in St. Martinville. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. until 1 pm on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 12 noon. Fr. Augustinu Seran, SVD, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Homer loved fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Broussard of St. Martinville; his daughter, Doris (Ronald) Thibodeaux of St. Martinville; his grandchildren, Jessica (Jerious) Vallere of Baton Rouge, Alpacino Thibodeaux of Jacksonville, FL, Arielle Walker of Lafayette and Kamron Thibodeaux of St. Martinville; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Batiste, Ainsley Vallere and MaKaila Vallere. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Nicholas; and his brother, Antoine Wiltz.
