VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Jeremy "Popcorn" Rebert, 22, who passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Ministers for the service will be Elmo Rebert, Sr. and Leona Rebert. Jeremy was raised in Coteau Holmes and attended St. Martinville public schools. He graduated in 2005 from St. Martinville Sr. High School. He worked at A T Well Service for the past year. Jeremy enjoyed going out and hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and boat riding in the lake. He loved spending time with his family and his girlfriend, Jeanette Richard, who was very important to him. Jeremy would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. He always had a smile in his face. Survivors include his parents, Steve Rebert, Jr. and Debbie Albert Rebert; his brother, Steve Rebert, III, and his girlfriend, Holly Granger; his sister, Heather Rebert all of St. Martinville; his maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Betty Albert; his paternal grandmother, Leona Rebert; his maternal great grandmother, Maria Granger, of St. Martinville; a nephew, Steve Rebert, IV; and his girlfriend, Jeanette Richard, of Coteau Holmes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steve Rebert, Sr. and his cousin, Cody Rebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday. A family share time will be observed at 7 p.m. on Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Cody Albert, Dorsey Barras, III, Steve "Yogi" Rebert, III, Elmo Rebert, Sr., Paul Rebert, Jr. and Daniel Rebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry "Mikee" Giuffrida and Luke Owens, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
