Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Jessie Daigle, 86, who passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of service. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Memorial Service. Jessie was a Commercial Fisherman on the Mississippi River and in the Atchafalaya Basin. He honorably served our country as a Army veteran of the Korean War. Jessie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to his camp on the river. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving spouse Rita Carreca Daigle; sons, Wayne Daigle and wife Linda, Malcolm Daigle and wife Naanie; daughters, Kathy Daniels and husband William "Bill", Gail Savoy and husband Lonnie; sister, Lena Daigle; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents,Gilbert and Lucette Daigle; and his sisters, Mary Berthelot and Loretta Lamperez.
