New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Julius Lennie, Jr., 68, who passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Gretna. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Born on December 18, 1941 in New Iberia, Mr. Lennie was a resident of Gretna for 36 years. A Vice President and Regional Manager in the oilfield industry, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patsy Alvarado Lennie of Gretna; daughter, Marcella Fuselier and husband Stephen of Plaquemine; son, Brett P. Lennie and wife Michelle of Gretna; brothers, Bill T. Lennie of Gilbert, Arizona, Daniel J. Lennie and wife Jan of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Stephen Adam Fuselier, Jr., Kayla N. Lennie, Chelsea A. Fuselier, Joshua P. Lennie; great grandchild, Hayden E. Perino. He was preceded in death by parents, Julius Lennie, Sr., and Mabel Duhon Lennie. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
