Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am, on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Larry Joseph Landry, 56, who passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Ochsner Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue at 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. Reading the scriptures will be Rachael Guidry and Nicki Dural. Gift bearers will be Chasity and Demetra, his godchildren. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Larry was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He enjoyed going crabbing, barbequing and cooking outside. He also enjoyed going to the race (horse) track, watching his favorite teams play on TV, baseball-New York Yankees and football-San Francisco 49ers. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Boutin Landry; his daughter, Kaymie Landry; his brothers, Lester (Mary) Landry, Jr., Rickey Landry and Michael Landry all of Breaux Bridge, his sisters, Juanita Carter, Nancy Landry, Joe Ann (Leo) Stewart all of San Francisco, CA, Laura (Leo) Pitte, Kathy (Joseph) Johnson, Rose Mercier all of Breaux Bridge, Shirley (Carson) Guidry of Cecilia and Norma (John) Dural of Breaux Bridge. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Landry, Sr., mother, Mary LeBlanc Landry, and sister, Vesta Mae Landry. Pallbearers will be Terry Landry, Mike Williams, Holland Landry, Bradford Landry, Leadrick Pitte and Joe Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Landry, Jr., Rickey Landry, Michael Landry, Randall Boutin, Leroy Lafleur, Bruce Parrish and Wilton Boutin.
