Laurence Sieber

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Laurence Boutte Sieber, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue at 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Rusty Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kim Millen, Alyssa Millen, and Natalie Sieber. Gift Bearers will be Staci Courtois, Nancy Reeves, and Lisa Dronet. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Sieber was a parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She loved working in her yard, especially if she had help and as a pastime she enjoyed trips to the casino and playing Bourre with family and friends. Blondies home was always open and welcoming to everyone she loved having visitors. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Gerald Sieber and wife, Marsha, Kirk Sieber and wife, Juanita, and Chuck Sieber and wife, Rachelle; four daughters, Jeanette Sieber Dore, Crystal Sieber Wiltz, Helen Labiche and husband, Eugene, and Hazel Dupuy; one brother, Abdon Boutte; three sisters, Gurlie Broussard, Rita Dionne, and Lillion Boudreaux; 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Laurent and Oceta Bourque Boutte; her husbands, George Sieber, James Delahoussaye, and Dennis Domingue; two step children, Myrtle Sieber Champagne and Nicholas George Seiber; and four brothers, Clovis, Ossay, Sam, and Camille Boutte. Pallbearers will be Jake Sieber, Danny Dore, Tommy Sieber, Bryan Dupuy, Dwayne Dore, and Jesse Dupuy. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Wiltz, Chad Wiltz, Lee Champagne, Ted Champagne, Derek Seiber, Donnie Seiber, Troy Seiber, Todd Labiche, and Gene Labiche.
