Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, April 4, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Leonard Alexander, Jr., 70, who passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at his residence. Fr. James Fallon, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, will conduct the service. Mr. Alexander was a member of the C.B. Club for many years, and loved cutting his lawn. Survivors include his son, Bobby Johns, of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Harold Alexander and Joseph Alexander, both of Lafayette, William Alexander, of St. Martinville, and Lawrence Alexander, of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Ann Alexander, of Breaux Bridge, and Florence Sylvester, of Lafayette; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Demouchet; his parents, Evelyn and Leonard Alexander, Sr.; his daughter, Eula Demouchet; two brothers, Harris and Earl Alexander; and five sisters, Bertha Alexander, Mary Alice Alexander, Helen Alexander, Ella Mae Alexander, and Eula Celestine. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. on Friday.
