Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Leonard LeBlanc, 68, who died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Paul LaFleur, pastor of St. Bernard Church, will be the celebrant of the funeral mass. Mr. LeBlanc served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 10 years. He was employed at Hub City Ford as the Assistant Parts Manager for the past 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Eva Delle, would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. Survivors include his loving wife, Eva Delle Smith LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; four daughters, Deborah Ann LeBlanc of Lafayette, Linda L. Nugent and her husband, Alden, of Scott, Elizabeth L. Credeur and her husband, John, of Rayne, and Catherine LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge; his sister, Edna Delahoussaye Suir, of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sulie and Martina Theriot LeBlanc; his brother-in-law, Avery Delahoussaye; two nephews, Gerald "Tim" Delahoussaye and Mark Delahoussaye; and his great nephew, Justin Delahoussaye. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Carl Hanks, Norris Byron, Alric Delahoussaye, Arden Delahoussaye, John Credeur, and Alden Nugent. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Delahoussaye, Kaven Delahoussaye, and Carl Lanclos. Memorial donations, in his name, may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
