VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Lester Bobby Migues, Sr., 74, who passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009 in New Iberia. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Bobby retired from the New Iberia Fire Department as assistant chief after 28 years of service. He was currently working for Vida Paint Company. In his younger years he enjoyed boxing and coaching little league baseball. Bobby's greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his family. While there is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, our lives have been richly blessed by the life that he led and the man that he was. Survivors include his wife Juliet Hebert Migues of New Iberia; his mother, Helen Winnie Boutte Migues of New Iberia; his daughter, Joni Jane Romero and husband Guy of Sugarland, Tx; his sons, Lester Bobby Migues, Jr., and wife Robyn of Baton Rouge, Lionel Lonny" Migues, and wife Karla of Prarieville; grandchildren, Amy Romero Wendell, and husband Jake, Mary Romero Ferguson, and husband Ben, Lily Catherine Romero, Hope Christine Romero, Vitaly Romero, Alesya Romero, Amanda Lynn Migues, Claire Migues Wilson, and husband Regan, Jonathan Joey Migues and Gracyn Lea Migues; great grandchildren, Karly Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Josie Claire Wendell and Lydia Wendell. He was preceded in death by his father Lionel Migues and brother, Chester Migues. Pallbearers will be Bobby Migues, Jr., Lonny Migues, Guy Romero, Regan Wilson and Joey Migues. A gathering of family and friends will begin Friday from 4:00 PM until time of service on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
