Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, on Monday, November 23, 2015, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Louella O. Taylor, 68, who passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015, in Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 12:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Keenan Brown and Father Brian Taylor will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Monica Meche. Gift Bearers will be Kiri Meche and Kori Hebert. Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Lou loved spending the days with her family, especially the love of her life, Taylor. She was an amazing mother and friend, but most of all she was a wonderful Granny to six beautiful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. Warren Degatur, Dr. Chancelor Donald, Dr. Justin Ardoin, St. Martin Hospital and the oncology nursing staff at Our Lady of Lourdes for their caring compassion during her time of illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Taylor Taylor; daughters, Stacy Stoute and husband Robert, Monica Meche and husband Paul, Catina Guidry and husband Todd; grandchildren, Neal Hebert, Brady Hebert and wife Lainey, Kori Hebert, Taylor Guidry, Kiri Meche, and Matthieu Meche; and two great grandchildren, Brogan Quebedeaux and Owen Hebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Vivian L. Olivier; her son, Neal James Taylor; her father and mother-in-law, Valex Sr. and Edna H. Taylor; her sister-in-law, Ella Mae Daigle; and brothers-in-law, Evans, Valex Jr, Resnaire, Joseph, Louis, and Larry Taylor. Pallbearers will be Neal Hebert, Brady Hebert, Taylor Guidry, Matthieu Meche, Paul Meche, Todd Guidry, and Robert Stoute. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Olivier, Maurice Guilbeau Jr., and Deuce Domengeaux.
