Mrs. Git was a very near & dear friend of my grandmother, Mary Maraist. Up until her move, there wasn't a day that passed that she didn't walk over for a visit. Many of those days myself and my son, Ethan, would stop by for a quick visit. Mrs. Git always had a little surprise for him. On our last visit to her home, I brought Ethan, Keegan (my nephew), and my grandmother; she had a little gift bag for each of them because she couldn't disappoint. She was a loving lady, and will be missed dearly!

Mr. Millard and Ms. Git were, and will always be, a special part of my childhood. One of my first experiences at being a big girl was to be able to walk to their grocery store all by myself. They were hard-working but never too busy to stop and talk. So many of the presents that I brought to birthday parties came off of the rack at Mr. Millard's store. Ms. Git was a special lady and my fond memories of her will always be a special part of my childhood remembrances.

Segura Family,Just a note to bid a lovely lady farewell, all my memories ofher are sweet. I often thought of Ms. Kit after she stopped visiting the nursing home and hoped she was doing well. I know she is now with Mr. Millard, family and friends, including my mom LillyBelle, Marion and Blanche. Rest in peace dear lady.

My condolences to the entire family! We have great memories of the neighborhood store. The good old days when you could order groceries on the phone and get them delivered to your home by Jack, the delivery guy. It was a great neighborhood store across from the school and surrounded by many wonderful families!
