Breaux Bridge - A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge, for Marie "Meshute" Usie , 93, who passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Opelousas General Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday and continue at 7:30 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on Wednesday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Graveside Service. 'Meshute,' as she was known throughout the Breaux Bridge community, enjoyed visiting with the ladies in the neighborhood, and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to go and play Bingo whenever she had a chance. She is survived by her three grandchildren, Cory Tauzin, Brandon Tauzin, and Dawn Tauzin; and 5 great grandchildren, Lili, Klair, Macie, and Abby Tauzin, and Vega Ann Burton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Moise and Anaise Thibodeaux Usie; her daughter, Judy Ann Usie Tauzin; and several aunts and uncle. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
