St. Martinville - A Graveside Service with interment following, will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville for Nathaniel Raymond, 71, who passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.Raymond enjoyed boiling crabs and inviting family and friends over to eat. He loved watching sports, regardless of who was playing. Raymond had a love for eating pigs’ feet and tripe. He will be remembered for his kindness, funny disposition, and how hard he worked to provide a good life for his family. He is survived by his wife, Helen Raymond; daughters, Lathangelique Raymond and Debony Raymond; son, Dwayne Raymond; grandchildren, Estasia Layne, Jewel Raymond, Nakevian Raymond, Carmani Warner, Kamien Warner, Kha'leal Warner, and Kali' Warner; great grandchild, Emmeri Martin; brothers, Elton Boutte, Shelton Boutte, James Boutte, Paul Raymond, Edward Raymond, James Raymond, and Joseph Raymond; and sisters, Alice Raymond, , Denise Fondal, Selena Raymond, Lorita Sparrow, and Rose Nico.He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Raymond, Sr.; mother, Freddie Mae Allen; stepmother, Rita Boutte Raymond; brothers, Robert Raymond and Leroy Raymond, Jr.; sister, Norma Hurst; paternal grandparents, Selena and Edward Raymond ; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Allen; maternal grandfather, John Allen; grandchild, Duwan Raymond; and his uncles, Edward Raymond and Willie Raymond, Sr. aunts, Adeline Raymond and Annabelle Schanette.
