Ms. Ilene, David and Sissy. I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Nelson will be missed by so many. He was a wonderful and charitable man that served his family, friends and state so well. I have many fond memories of Mr. Nelson growing up but one that sticks in my mind is @ my age 7 when Mr. Nelson and I were on our way to a duck hunt and walking thru the Des Oureses Swamp when I told Nelson that the water was too deep for me to continue walking to the duck blind. I was cold and near tears. Without hesitation, Nelson put me and my gun on his back and carried me another 200 yards to the duck blind. He did it with a smile. He always let me shoot at the ducks first, then he would shoot and tell me that I killed all the ducks. What a great man that always had a great stories to tell at the camp. He taught me so much about hunting, but more about life.
