Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Paola Marks Stelly, 84, who passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday by Sandra Laporte. Fr. Keenan Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Leslie Dejean and Kaylan Stelly. Gift Bearers will be Lindsey Dejean, Mandy Stelly, and Lacy Stelly. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. Mrs. Stelly loved her family and her best friend, Georgie Singleton. She enjoyed going to the casino and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Stelly and his wife, Terri Landry Stelly, of Carencro, and Roger Stelly and his wife, Lisa Berard Stelly, of Breaux Bridge; eight grandchildren, Leslie Dejean, Lacy Stelly, John Stelly, Brady Stelly, Corey Stelly, Mandy Stelly, Magan Stelly, and Kaylan Stelly; and nine great grandchildren, Nick Dejean, Lindsey Dejean, Gracie Dejean, Layne Breaux, Gavin Lasseigne, Kagan Latiolais, Bailey Stelly, Ella Stelly, and Jazmin Stelly; and three great-great grandchildren, Zoey Stelly, Noah Dejean, and Jade Guidry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clesme Joseph Stelly; her son, Harold James Stelly; a great grandchild, Karley Stelly; her parents, Albert and Lenora Duplechain Marks; and her brother, Wilson Marks. Pallbearers will be John Stelly, Nick Dejean, Brady Stelly, Brody Latiolais, Gerard Durot, and Anthony Stelly. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
