Saint Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm, on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Saint Martinville, for Paul Ledet, 68, who passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at New Iberia Manor North. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Stanley Jawa will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Elva Moore. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Saint Martinville. Paul enjoyed drinking, playing music and dancing. He cherished moments spent with family and friends and was always the life of the party. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Gedward Ledet of St. Martinville; his son, Jabari LeBlance of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Cynthia Caladay and her husband, Frank of Houston, TX, Paula Potier of Lafayette, Vantrice Potier and her husband, Lionel of Breaux Bridge, Tonia Ledet of St. Martinville, Eleanor and her husband, Nolton Hamilton, Jr. of Cecilia; his brother, Harry Ledet and his wife, Lena of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Georgiana Benjamin Ledet; and his brothers, Gabriel Ledet and Henry Francis. Pallbearers will be Howard Ledet, Thaddius Potier, Avery Gedward, Jabari LeBlance, Antoine Ledet, Aaron Noel, and Terry Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Ledet, Corny Ledet, Franklin Dotson, Ray Wiltz, Wilbert Ledet, and Phillip Ledet.
