Paul Standridge

St. Martinville-Paul Steven Standridge, 59, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his residence in New Iberia. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, with Rev. Rusty Richard officiating and Joey Standridge reciting the readings. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Paul was employed with Aggreko, LLC for 24 years. He was an avid hunter, photographer and enjoyed his family. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Broussard Standridge of New Iberia; his father, Joe Standridge of St. Martinville; his son, Steven (Kelly) Standridge of New Iberia; his daughter, Dana (Andy) Griffin of New Iberia; his brothers, Joe (Rea) Standridge of Stephenville, Texas, William (Suzanna) Standridge of Las Vegas, Nevada and John (Jodie) Standridge of Loreauville; 7 grandchildren, Elliot, Emmeline, Lucas and Lily Standridge and Gabe, Chloe and Aiden Griffin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Martin Standridge and his brother, Eric Martin Standridge. Pallbearers will be Andy Griffin, Pat Mullen, John Standridge, Billy Boggs, William Standridge, Darrel Savoy and Chip Maraist. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Standridge, Gabe Griffin and Lucas Standridge. Pellerin Funeral Homeof St.Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
