Pauline Derouen

New Iberia - Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM , Friday, April 13, 2012 , at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum in New Iberia , for Pauline ' China ' Derouen, 76, who died on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in New Iberia . Rev. Donald Pelous will officiate. Born on April 6, 1935 , Mrs. Derouen was the daughter of Amilcar and Maria Bijeaux Champagne . A devoted wife and mother, she was a very loving, witty, and generous person. Survivors include her husband, Elwood James Derouen of New Iberia ; sons, Craig Derouen of New Iberia , Mike Derouen of Myrtle Beach , South Carolina ; sister, Georgie C. Guidry of New Iberia ; and a granddaughter, Sarah Derouen of Myrtle Beach , South Carolina . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Webster Champagne, Darcey Champagne , Houston Champagne , Louis Champagne; and her twin sister, Madeline Champagne.
