Pearly Perry

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Pearly Meyers Perry, 91, who passed away on Saturday July 19, 2008 at LTAC of Acadiana in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Fr. Courville, pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church will conduct the services. Mrs. Perry loved to baby sit, cook and spend time with her family. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Therese Perry of St. Martinville; her sister, Lula Mae Stoute of Abbeville; her grandchildren, Kenneth Perry, Jr., Stephen Perry, Jason Perry and Michael Perry; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Perry; her parents, Dago and Levi Meyers; her son, Kenneth Perry, Sr.; her brother, Alibe Meyers; her sister, Dorothy Bernard and her granddaughter, Charlotte Perry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from time 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Perry, Jr., Stephen Perry, Jason Perry, Michael Perry, Roland Talley and Woodie Bernard. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
