Randy Castille

NEW IBERIA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in New Iberia for Randy Paul Castille, 49, who passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Lafayette. Interment will follow in St. Marcellus Cemetery. Rev. Donovan Labbe will be the Celebrant. Randy was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knight of Columbus Council 7050. He was member of St. Marcellus Catholic Church in New Iberia and had very strong faith in the Lord. Randy owned Castille Appliance Service for over 20 years and also worked as a driver for the Iberia Parish School Board during that time. After retiring from Castille Appliance Service, Randy worked for Hadley's Pest Control. Randy enjoyed reading, camping, listening to Cajun music, and was very close to his family and grandchild. Randy's family and friends will remember him as a selfless, caring, thoughtful, loving, humorous, supportive, devoted, friendly, gentle, and a generous man who touched the lives of many people. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Marie Jessica Castille of New Iberia; his parents, Howard and Adley 'Nicki' Castille of New Iberia; two sons, Matthew Paul Castille, and Randy James Castille both of New Iberia; one daughter, Michelle Marie Castille of New Iberia; three brothers, Michael Castille of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris Castille, and Patrick Castille both of New Iberia; one sister, Sheri Castille DeRouen of New Iberia; and one grandchild, Hayden Paul Castille. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, D.H. and Aline Castille; and maternal grandparents, Adler David and Pearl Miguez. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday.
