Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ronald James Leleux, 71, who died Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Rynella. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Rev. Eugene Tremie will be the Celebrant. Tori LeBlanc and Danielle Robicheaux will proclaim the readings. Gift Bearers include Drew LeBlanc, Rick Leleux, and Jaci LeBlanc... A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM. Born on March 6, 1941, Mr. Leleux worked in the oilfield for 45 years, having worked for ODECO, MESA, and Pioneer Oil. His hobbies included camping, fishing, and trolling. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Trahan Leleux of Rynella; children, Ralph Leleux and wife Marla of Delcambre, Romnie Leleux of New Orleans, Bessie LeBlanc and husband Brian of Rynella, Belinda LeBlanc and husband Kim of Delcambre; brothers, Jimmy Leleux of New Iberia, Perry Leleux and wife Mona of New Iberia; grandchildren, Trent Leleux, Rodney Leleux, Randy Leleux, Brandon LeBlanc, Jaci LeBlanc, Tori LeBlanc, Drew LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Tre Leleux, and Gabriella Leleux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Eva Derouen Leleux; an infant son, Rodney Paul Leleux; great grandparents, Sophie Derouen Lennie, Jules Lennie; aunt, Olive Babin Martin; uncle, Whitney Lennie; father-in-law, Wallace Trahan, Sr.; mother-in-law, Agnes Trahan. Pallbearers will be Trent Leleux, Rodney Leleux, Randy Leleux, Kim LeBlanc, Brian LeBlanc, and Roy Pierre. Honorary pallbearers include Drew LeBlanc, Roger Powers, Doug Kimball, Rick Leleux, Derek Leleux, Perry Leleux, Jimmy Leleux. The family would like to give special thanks to Cliter Hay ward and Katherine Jefferson for their extraordinary care and compassion. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Hospice, 201 W.
