Breaux Bridge - Funeral services for Ruby G. Hebert, the former Ruby Louise Guidry, 90 years old, of Breaux Bridge will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, LA. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. A resident of Breaux Bridge,Ruby Louise Guidry Hebert passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at St. Agnes Nursing Home. Mrs. Hebert was a member of the St. Bernard Altar Society in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include her son, John Norris Hebert and spouse, Gayle; two grandsons, John Robert ""Robie"" Hebert and spouse, Michelle; and John Oldon ""Odie"" Hebert; two great-grandchildren, Danielle Renee Hebert and Andre John Hebert, all of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Mae G. Hunter of Turlock, CA, Mrs. Marianne G. Breaux of Pacifica, CA and Mrs. Thelma G. Eddy of Breaux Bridge; and one brother, Cecil Guidry and his wife, Emma of Concord, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oldon M. Hebert; and infant daughter, Doris (twin to Norris); and her parents, Robert and Emmelian G. Guidry. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Michael Cain and his entire staff; the staff in the Oncology Unit at Lafayette General Medical Center; the staff and nurses at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge; and Jolane Doucet and staff with Hospice of Acadiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am, Tuesday, June 6, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Robert Hebert, Odie Hebert, Larry Eddy, Ervin Hebert, James Bertrand and James Bertrand, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Andre Hebert. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
