We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the entire Stelly family. Jimmy and I have very fine memories of Mrs. Stelly as she taught both of us and was one of our favorite teachers. She was a very loving person and had a smile for us wherever she met us. Her passing will be a great loss for the family as well as our little community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grief. Posted: Fri Aug 10 16:28:54 EDT 2007

Sorry for your loss. Not sure that you will remember me Glen, as you transfered to Arnaudville to further your education, but i do rememember you and that your mom was an excellent teacher. I was a daydreamer in my youth and she was very tolerant. Posted: Tue Sep 04 23:58:36 EDT 2007

Glenda and Stelly family, My sympathy to all of Mrs. Vernice's family. The death of a loved one is never easy but we must remember the good memories that we made. I remember her teaching me history when I was in elementary school. She always wore a smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Ramona Posted: Fri Aug 10 22:50:48 EDT 2007

To Mrs.Vernice's family, my sympathy goes out to all of you. She was a very special lady.I first met her with Colleen and the Stoutes. She and I became friends right away and no matter where we would meet up...she was always very friendly. The next few days won't be easy, but if you will allow God to guide you, he will get you through it.One thing I want you'll to know is that Mrs. Vernice was often bragging about all of her beautiful family whom she loved so much. You all were very lucky to have had such a special person in your lives.Take care and God Bless Posted: Fri Aug 10 23:58:49 EDT 2007
