New Iberia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Alderine Harry Hebert, 72, who died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in New Iberia.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM Thursday.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert worked at Abdallas for several years. She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by her husband, Francis Hebert of New Iberia; son, Ernie Moreaux and wife Brenda Bourgeois Moreaux of New Iberia; grandsons, Jude Moreaux of New Iberia, Seth Moreaux of New Iberia; brother, Walter Harry of New Iberia; sisters, Belda H. Broussard and husband Glenn of New Iberia, Betty H. Frank of New Iberia; 2 special step grandchildren, Jaelin Hebert of Loreauville, Deja Hebert of Loreauville; a special step daughter, Julie Hebert of Loreauville; and 8 step children.
She was preceded in death by parents, Alcide and Josephine Judice Harry; former husband, Ernest Moreaux; sisters, Ruby H. Lyons, Joann H. Camacho, Anna Lee H. Broussard, Marie H. Charpentier, Irene H. Hebert; brothers, Sidney Jacob Harry, Jessie Harry.
Pallbearers include Ernie Moreaux, Jude Moreaux, Seth Moreaux, Corey Camacho, Donna F. Thibodeaux, Stacy Broussard, Chad Broussard, and Harry Boobie Charpentier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Heberts nephews and nieces.
