Aldred Guillotte was born in Coteau, Louisiana on June 23, 1930, to the late Ophe and Elle Primeaux Delhoussaye.

A longtime faithful member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Aldret found fulfillment in her participation in the Ladies Altar Society and as a former choir member, where her voice became part of a harmonious collective dedicated to serve. Praying the rosary daily, she nurtured a profound spiritual connection that guided her through life's journey, embodying the grace and love she wished to share with the world.

Aldret was known for her insatiable wanderlust, relishing every opportunity to explore new places. For over twenty years, she embarked on bus trips across the vast landscapes of the United States and Canada, creating cherished memories with dear friends. Although she traveled many miles, one of her most treasured adventures took her to the enchanting streets of France, where the spirit of discovery brightened her ever-curious heart.

Mrs. Guillotte loved to shop. Her friends would laugh as they waited patiently on benches, knowing that they could hardly keep up with her! Her sense of style and flair was unmatched, making even the simplest outings a delightful experience filled with joy and laughter.

Most importantly, Aldret's heart was anchored by her unconditional love for family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fostering bonds that will last forever. Each visit was steeped in laughter, stories, and the warmth of a loving family that she held dear.

Aldret’s favorite expression, “If God says the same!” aptly encapsulated her optimistic outlook on life. This phrase has now become a comforting reminder to all who knew her of her faith, her lighthearted spirit, and her commitment to living fully in each moment. She will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Guillotte is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Adrian Guillotte; sons, Donald Guillotte (Rhonda), Randy Guillotte (Ann), and Lynn Guillotte (Diana); sister, Ruby Delahoussaye; grandchildren, Heather Guillotte, Lance Guillotte, Ashley Judice (Chad), Dustin Guillotte (Gwen), Tate Guillotte (Melinda), Ian Guillotte (Ashley), and Ty Guillotte (Alexis); great-grandchildren, Rylee Menard (Ty Bowers), Reagan Boudreaux, Reese Boudreaux, Taylor Guillotte, Bailey Guillotte, Jacques Guillotte, Ephram Judice, Elijah Judice, Ezra Judice, Carson Guillotte, Nolan Guillotte, Cooper Guillotte, Michael Guillotte, and Jett Guillotte; and a great-great-granddaughter, Estella Bowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Guillotte; son, Michael Guillotte; and a brother, Minos Delahoussaye.

Pallbearers will be Lance Guillotte, Dustin Guillotte, Ian Guillotte, Ty Guillotte, Ephram Judice, and Elijah Judice.

As we celebrate Aldret, we are reminded of the impact one person can have on so many lives. Her legacy of love, faith, and adventure will be with us always. May she rest in peace.
