Broussard - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broussard honoring the life of Allen JeanBatiste, 87, who passed away on June 10, 2025.

A visitation will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broussard on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Ryszard Zawadzki SVD will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Allen was devoted family man and a long standing member of The Knights of Peter Claver.

He is survived by his children, Glenda K. JeanBatiste Walker, Marvin (Sandra) JeanBatiste, Jakeithia Prejean and Devin JeanBatiste; grandchildren, Jamie Mitchell, Eric Mitchell, Derrick Mitchell, Lamar JeanBatiste, Lavaughn JeanBatiste and Keyana JeanBatiste; and his great-grandchildren, Joshua Paul Mitchell, Eric C. Mitchell and Brayden Mitchell.

He is preceded in death by his former wife, Alzina JeanBatiste; parents, Antoine and Elise Lee JeanBatiste; daughter, Rebecca JeanBatiste; sisters, Helen Murphy and Shirley Curlee; and his granddaughter, Monica R. Mitchell.
