Breaux Bridge- Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, January 24, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Alta 'Tou Tout' Breaux Broussard, 91 , who passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Monsignor Douglas Courville will conduct the services. Readers will be Kimberly Gautreaux and Nicole D. Latiolais. Gift Bearers will be Paige Huval , Isabella Daspit and Jonah Gautreaux. Altar Server will be Ashley Latiolais. Alta was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia. 'Tou Tout' worked at Trappey's for a number of years. 'Tou Tout' worked at Trappey's for a number of years. She peeled crawfish at Naquin's and helped support her family by working in the fields, picking cotton and potatoes. She enjoyed cooking and baking, which was one of her many talents that she will be remembered for, along with the many dishes she provided at meal time for her family. Spending time with family and friends brought joy to her life. Survivors include her sons, Nathan Broussard and his wife, Judy of Carencro, and Michael Broussard and his wife, Cindy of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Dorothy Daspit and her husband, Ray of St. Martinville, and Sandra Benoit and her husband, Raymond of Breaux Bridge; her brothers, Curley Breaux and his wife, Merjie, Melvin J. Breaux and his wife, Odette, and Calvin J. Breaux and his wife, Sue all of Port Arthur, TX; her sisters, Helen Dugas of Arnaudville, Juanita Standley of Port Arthur, TX, and Elsie Domingue and her husband, Willie of Maurice; her eight grandchildren, Scott Daspit, Nicole Latiolais, Toby Broussard, Cindy Broussard, Kimberly Gautreaux, Danielle Huval, Tammy Broussard, and Troy Theriot; and her ten great grandchildren, Jonah and Blake Gautreaux, Dylan and Garrett Daspit, Ashley and Andrew Latiolais, Justus and Isabella Daspit, Cody Broussard and Paige Huval. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Lucien Broussard; her parents, Donna Dieu and Eleda Stoute Breaux; her brother, Earl J. Breaux; her sister, Anne B. Lajaunie; her grandchildren, Perley Paul Broussard and Mitchell Jude Daspit; and her great grandchild, David John Daspit. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
