New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Amanda Richie Eustance 31, who passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in Houston. ;Born on October 25, 1979, Amanda proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Iraq War. A cancer awareness advocate, she enjoyed quilting, painting, pottery, designing dresses, and most of all taking care of her family. ;Survivors include her husband, Edward Eustace of Kingwood; father, Glyn Richie, Sr. of New Iberia; mother, Pamela Smith Jude of New Iberia; daughter, Amilya Eustace of Kingwood; son, Matthew Eustace of Longview; sister, Shannon Richie Provost and husband Ronald Provost, Jr. of New Iberia; brothers, Glyn Richie, Jr. and wife Sherry of New Iberia, Kevin Richie and wife Lisa of New Iberia, Chris Richie and wife Emie of Lafayette; several nieces and nephews. ;She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Myrtle N. Smith, Collin F. Smith, Mary Mitternight, and Clay Adam Richie; and a sister, Ruth Richie Cork. ;A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
