Amy Marie Louviere

Cecilia- A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home - Cecilia for Amy Marie Louviere, 40, who passed away on September 4, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday 8:00 AM from until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Pastor Bud Plake will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2, in Breaux Bridge.

Amy was born on November 20, 1984 in St. Martinviile. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Amy was a familiar face at The Jocky Lot, where she worked for nine years. Prior to that, she dedicated over 20 years of her career to Waffle House, where she made countless connections and friendships that enriched her life. A proud advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Amy was passionate about helping others and making a difference in the community.

Known for her radiant spirit, Amy was a true ray of sunshine. Her love for dancing, music, and infectious smile could light up any room. She was silly and filled with joy, always bringing laughter to those around her. As a devoted mother, she poured her heart into raising her son, Raven, and was there for him and everyone else in their moments of need. Amy was known for opening her home to family and friends, always offering a helping hand, no matter her own circumstances. Let us remember her spirit, laughter, and the countless lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed, but forever cherished in our hearts.

She is survived by her parents, Russell Louviere, Sr. and Brenda Romero Louviere; son, Raven Louviere; siblings, Jamie Louviere (Ronald), Viola Bergeron (Roy), Terry Louviere (Cynthia), and Russell Louivere, Jr.; godchildren, Cameryn Louivere, Sky Landgrave, Jayden Louviere, Paul Noel, Jr., Prue-Jett Salvaggio, and Jaspen Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her aunt, Faye Grow; uncle, Dennis Grow; paternal grandparents, Dupre and Joyce Louviere; maternal grandparents, Otis and Viola Romero; and friends, Raven Boudreaux and Jacqueline Ledee.

Pallbearers will be Raven Louviere, Russell Louviere, Jr., Josh Arceneaux, Damien Domingue, Roy Bergeron, and Todd Grow.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Louviere, Prue-Jett Salvaggio, Jayce Louviere, Brayden Bergeron, Mitch Thibodeaux, and Paul Noel, Jr.
