New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 10,. 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Andrew Isaac Breaux, 66, who passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Visitation will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 am until noon.

A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator will be prayed at 11:15 am on Friday.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Erath, Andrew Isaac Breaux was born on July 13, 1959, to the late Herbin “Nookie” Peter and Betty Jane Savoy Breaux. He graduated from Catholic High School in New Iberia. Having worked in the oilfield sector all of his life, his career took him to various companies including Haliburton, Southern Magic, and Single Source Supply, where his expertise as a service technician earned him respect and admiration.

Andrew had varied hobbies, including watching NASCAR races and wrestling, and he loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends. He will be deeply missed.

Mr. Breaux is survived by son, Austin Breaux (Andrea); siblings, Diane Breaux, Sheila Simon (Bill), and Patricia Thompson (Rusty); sister-in-law, Margaret Breaux; long-time companion, Ada Duhon; stepdaughter, Ashley Romero (Dane); and nephews, Cody Simon, Elliott Thompson, Jacob Thompson, and Logan Breaux.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, John Breaux; and a niece, Shelly Simon.

Andrew leaves behind a world more colorful than he found it. He will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
