Annie Hulin

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Annie Lee Moore Hulin, 83 who died Thursday, January 13, 2011 in New Iberia . Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Rev. Donald Pelous will be the Celebrant. Readings will be proclaimed by Melissa Hulin and Tammy Martin. Gift Bearers include Caroline Hulin, and Emma Collins. Born on May 27, 1927 , Mrs. Hulin was a retired school teacher, having taught science at Mt. Carmel , and Anderson Street Middle School . She enjoyed reading, studying science, painting, and helping other. Mrs. Hulin was an active parishioner at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church, where she served as a CCD teacher, Eucharistic minister, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and the choir. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Warren P. Hulin, Sr. of New Iberia; son, Warren Hulin, Jr. and wife Lisa of Loreauville, Donn Patrick Hulin and wife Melissa of New Iberia, Kevin Hulin and wife Vanessa of Carencro; daughters, Vicki Murdock and husband Thomas of New Iberia, Sharon Goelzer of Pensacola, FL, Edith Hulin of Henderson, Janet Tucker and husband William of New Iberia, Pamela Romero and husband Craig of New Iberia, Cynthia Armand and husband Russell of New Iberia, Patricia Hulin of San Jose, CA; sister, Aline 'Dot' Mayeux of New Iberia; 29 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Viola Perdue Moore; an infant son, Christopher Jon Hulin; grandson, Eillot Armand; sister, Charlie Mae Moresi; brother, Donald Ray Moore; sons-in-laws, Paul St.Blanc, Kenneth Goelzer, and Harold Landry. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Landry, Jason Gondron, David Kibbe, Everette Hulin, Ethan Armand, and Stuart Hulin. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:15 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia .
