Anthony "Tony" Joseph Mouton

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 14, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Anthony "Tony" Joseph Mouton, 62, who passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. 

Visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday from 7:00 AM until service time. 

A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 14, 2023. 

Deacon Perry Guidry will officiate at the funeral service.

Anthony "Tony" was born on March 31, 1961, in Lafayette. Anthony, also known as Tony, was known as a creator and as a creator he saw life so beautifully. Tony could take something old and turn it new - bringing it back to life with just his handyman purse of his beloved treasures (his staple gun, a pair of scissors, and a hot glue gun). He loved decorating, but not as much as he loved his job of 40 years as a cook at "Pat's Restaurant ". Tony enjoyed days off by relaxing and watching his favorite TV show 'Ru Paul's Drag Queen ', laughing oh so loudly.

Tony was an amazing and outgoing person, and it was always laughs and a good time when he was around, and everyone knew that Tony wasn't Tony if he wouldn't beat his feet (which was a family way of saying he loved to walk!). Tony will forever and truly be missed by all who loved him.
 
He is survived by his sisters, Debbie Mouton, Peggy Mouton, and Janet Mouton; nieces, Atlanta Mouton, Ary Mouton, Shar'de Mouton, India Mouton, and Jena Mitchell; and his nephews, Xavier Thibeaux, Qwen Thibeaux, Keithton Mouton, Bly Mouton, Zion Matthews, and Colin Matthews 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Anna Rose Roberts Mouton; and his brother, Jimmy Mouton.
