Arleen was a woman whose love, strength, and unwavering devotion shaped the lives of all who knew her.

Known affectionately as "Gazette" by her family - because she always knew everything about everyone. She was the heart and soul of our family. Her gift was her deep intuition and care for those around her. She was the one we all turned to - not just for answers, but for comfort, guidance, and unconditional love.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren. Nothing mattered more to her than the people she loved. She gave of herself completely and selflessly, always putting others before herself - never for recognition, but simply because that's who she was.

She was more than just a mother to her children - she was "the world's best mom" to all of their friends as well. Her home was a place of warmth, safety, and laughter for so many. Her friendships were deep and lasting, and she was the kind of friend who always showed up when you needed her most.

She was the one who took care of everyone - in quiet moments and in times of crisis, she was the steady, compassionate presence that held the family together.

Words cannot fully capture the love she gave or the space she leaves behind. Her legacy is one of kindness, selflessness, and fierce love. We will carry her spirit in everything we do, and honor her by living with the same grace and generosity she gave so freely to others.

Arleen was a proud member of Cruisin Cajun Country Car Club where she served as the Sponsor Chairwoman. She helped the club raise money for local charities and special therapeutic Amtrykes for special needs children in Acadiana.

She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Broussard; father, William Ray Owen; daughters, Devyn Broussard (TJ) and Autumn Landry (Colby); son, Layton Broussard; grandchildren, Oliver Landry, Owen Landry,Ryleigh Rebert, Ryklen Rebert, and Lakyn Ash; brothers, Ryan Owen (Kara) and Dwayne Champagne; sisters, Chasity Savoy and Julie Rhodes (Peter); aunts, Rosalie Melancon and Francine Champagne; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews she loved deeply.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Owen; uncle, Nolan "Boo" Champagne; grandparents, Nolan and Etta Huval Champagne, Sr.; and brother, Richard Owen.
