Barbara "Kenny" Comeaux

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September, 14, 2024 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Barbara "Kenny" Comeaux, 67, who passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Friday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Friday.

Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Sandy Clause and Lexi Care. Gift bearers will be Chloe Comeaux, Naomi Comeaux, Ava Comeaux, Dakota Breaux, and Sally Alyse Clause.

Burial will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum.

Barbara, "Kenny", "Nanny", and her favorite name, the one she cherished the most: "Nana", whatever the name, this amazing woman went by many terms of endearment due to the love she poured into all. She had many hobbies of creativity: from ironed jeans, to gorgeous floral arrangements, and the most beautiful Christmas tree you'd ever see! She was well known for the many ways she doted on her loved ones: tuna dip, the long letters of "and many, many more" in all the birthday cards, bunt cakes, decorating for any holiday but mostly for Christmas, sharing her phenomenal sense of style, joining in the many adventures of all "her" little ones, and of course, never saying no to anyone at any time. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Karl Comeaux, Kenneth Comeaux, Jr. (Nicole) and Kenny Comeaux; grandchildren, Chloe Comeaux, Naomi Comeaux, Ava Comeaux, Dakota Breaux, and many more that she adopted and called her own by her love and adoration, they all referred to her as "Nana", because she never discriminated her love; and one brother, Curtis LaGrange (Judy).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Comeaux, Sr.; parents, Lloyd LaGrange, Sr. and Gerladine Toby LaGrange; and her siblings, Lelia LaGrange, Lloyd LaGrange, Sr., Sally Clause, Gervais "Cookie" LaGrange, Sr. and Robert LaGrange.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Comeaux, Jr., Karl Comeaux, Myles Theriot, Raymond Clause, Jr., John Deville, and Gervais LaGrange, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ayden Clause, Brad Care, and Raymond Clause, Sr.
