Barbara Peltier

New Iberia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, January 6, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, for Barbara Crochet Peltier, 55, who died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Barbara was born on August 24, 1958 in Franklin, and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed flower gardening, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Nicholas Peltier and wife Kelli of Loreauville, Priscilla Peltier and fianc Steven Lemaire of Duson; her mother, Edmae Romero Crochet of New Iberia; sisters, Brenda Ransonet of New Iberia, Mary Rogers of New Iberia, DeAnna Champagne and husband Gus of New Iberia; brother, Daniel Crochet and wife Cathy of New Iberia; and a granddaughter, Cimi Peltier of Loreauville.
