Ben Babineaux

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ben Babineaux, 28 who died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in New Iberia . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant. Born on July 18, 1982 , Ben was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia . He worked as a carpenter with his father, and his hobbies included music and hunting. He will be deeply missed. Survivors include parents, Gerald and Sandra Girouard Babineaux of New Iberia; fiance, Felicia Gaspard of New Iberia; step sons, Bryson Gaspard and Brody Gaspard both of New Iberia; brothers, Brett Babineaux and fiance Michelle Morris of Loreauville, Brandon Babineaux and wife Sky of New Iberia, Beaux Jay Babineaux and fiance Brooke Romero of New Iberia; nieces and nephews, Zacquary, Layni, Devon, Alexis, Ryann, Sophia, Jack, and Macy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dudley and Mildred Babineaux, and Ernest and Dorena Girouard. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday.
