Arnaudville - Bertha Taylor Halphen , 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 . Survivors include her son, Joseph O. Halphen, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael Joseph Halphen, and Joseph O. Halphen, III; ;her great grandchild, Valec Michael Halphen; and her step-daughter, Carolyn Halphen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Halphen Sr.; her mother, Hermine Taylor Roy; two brothers and one sister. Pellerin Funeral Home (337.332.2111) is in charge of arrangements.
