Bertha Woodson

Leonville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville for Bertha ""Tet Tat"" Woodson, 92, who died Sunday, May 15, 2005 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Entombment will be in St. Leo the Great Mausoleum in Leonville. Miss Woodson was a member of the Altar Society at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. ?She loved to cook and bake. Survivors include three sisters, Emily Guidry, and her husband, Carl of Groves, TX, Lilly Taylor, and her husband, Ray of Morrow, LA, and Rita ""Chic"" Darby of Arnaudville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Rita Woodson; four brothers, Ewell, Mason, Howard and Carlos Woodson, Jr.; and her sister, Velma Marcotte. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 AM ~ 9 PM on Tuesday and continue at 8 AM on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Tuesday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
